Future Plans/Apology.

First off, we would like to apologize for taking so long to update the blog. We both have been very busy with our kids and other family matters, that we haven't had the chance to do anything.

If you haven't already been invited to our group, please come check it out. 

Mommy & Me: A Place to Be (Facebook Group)

It's a page where mommies like you can come and chit chat or ask for advice when we're not together.

Also, if you haven't gotten the invite, we're having an Easter get together.
When? Sunday, April 17, 2010

Where? Cool Creek Park Nature Center

Time? 11 am - 2 pm. 

Mommy & Me has some special prizes going on right now::

FIRST:
We're going to be doing a door prize at our Easter Playdate Picnic (April 17)!! I know right how exciting!!!

How It Will Work:
As you (and your child) arrive to the picnic we will have you write your name down on the back of a ticket and place it in a box. Mid way through the picnic, we'll have a 3rd party draw a name out, and whose ever name gets drawn WINS a special door prize!!

SECOND:
The most exciting of them all.
A CONTEST!!!! 
We want to help get the word out about Mommy & Me, so we are going to have a contest in which you as our group members will be sending out the word, let your Mommy friends know about our first playdate (the Easter Picnic Playdate).

How It Will Work:
Whoever brings or gets the most Mommies to come to the picnic (by referral) will WIN a second prize.

THIRD:
Another Contest!! :)
This contest will last one month in length (until April 28) We want to help get the word out about Mommy & Me, so we are going to have a contest in which you as our group members will be sending out the word, let your Mommy friends know about us and have them tell their friends as well.

How It Will Work:
Whoever gets us the most "LIKES" on our Facebook Fan Page: Mommy & Me: A Place to Be (CONTEST PAGE!) (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Mommy-Me-A-Place-to-Be/150075588388860) by having our new "likers" write on the wall who sent them our way. Who ever sends the most people our way and is acknowledged as being so on the page will win a $15 Visa gift card.

So, you say you are "just" a birth mom or you're still waiting on your precious baby to arrive?

Come anyway!! We'd love to see you, chat with you, and be there in any way that we can from one Mommy to another!

Another thing we've been thinking about is craft nights and baking nights. 

Now, some of you have little ones, both of us do actually. So, what are your opinions on some good crafts for little ones and older ones? So as of right now, we're working on a craft night or a baking night. That info will be ready soon!! 

Last but not least, 

We were JUST informed about Danielle Schneider and her precious baby Chloe, and Kelly Poteet and her precious baby Reagan will be in town the weekend of April 9th!!!! How exciting?!?! So April and I are going plan a special get together so we can all meet these wonderful little ladies!! (: <3
